The best AI product photo generator depends on the seller. Photoroom suits phone-first sellers who need cutouts and scenes in volume, Pixelcut is the cheapest way to batch white backgrounds ($10/month), Pebblely is simplest for themed backgrounds ($9/month), Claid.ai fits developers who want an API, and Flair.ai or Nightjar suit brands that want styled photoshoots. AiArter (ours) makes Amazon-ready white backgrounds, lifestyle scenes and short video ads from your own photo, from $12/month.
Disclosure: AiArter is our product, so weigh our entry with that in mind. We didn't run hands-on lab tests of the other tools. The comparison below is based on each vendor's published features and pricing, checked in October 2026. Where a price comes only from third-party reviews, we label it “reported”. Confirm it on the vendor's site before you buy.
- Most sellers should start with a seller-focused tool (Photoroom, Pixelcut, Pebblely, AiArter) rather than a general image generator. They handle white backgrounds, sizes and batches.
- Cheapest per image at about 100 images a month: Pixelcut Pro (about 10 cents), AiArter Starter (12 cents, with room for more) and Photoroom Pro (about 13 cents, reported).
- Product fidelity matters most. Tools that cut out your real product and generate only the background keep labels and colors as shot. Tools that generate the whole image can change them.
- For brand photoshoots: Flair.ai and Nightjar. For print-on-demand mockups: Mockey.ai. For an API: Claid.ai, Nightjar or Photoroom.
- Check commercial-use terms on free plans. Several tools only grant a commercial license on paid plans.

How we compared these tools
We read each vendor's pricing page, product pages and FAQ in October 2026. When an official page didn't show a price, we used third-party reviews and marked the figure as reported. We did not run a lab test, score image quality.
These are the criteria that matter most when you sell online:
- Product fidelity. Does the tool keep your real product, or redraw it? Background replacement keeps the product's pixels. Full-image generation can shift a logo, a label or a color, and a listing photo that doesn't match the item leads to returns.
- White-background compliance. Amazon's main image needs pure white (RGB 255,255,255) with the product filling about 85% of the frame. See our Amazon product image requirements guide.
- Batch processing. A catalog of 200 SKUs needs bulk uploads, not one image at a time.
- Cost per image. Credits, exports and image quotas are counted differently, so we converted plans to cost per image where the numbers allowed.
- Commercial-use terms. Free tiers sometimes limit use to personal projects. Our guide on using AI images commercially covers the details.
The 10 best AI product photo generators in 2026
1. Photoroom
Photoroom is a mobile and web editor for sellers. Background removal costs no credits. AI backgrounds, AI expand and resize, and batch processing are all available. Pro includes 8,000 AI credits and 1,000 exports a month, Max 25,000 credits and 3,000 exports, and Ultra 75,000 credits and 10,000 exports. Video starts on Max and Shopify integration is on Max and Ultra. Photoroom's page didn't show dollar amounts when we checked. Reported prices are $12.99/month for Pro billed monthly, or about $7.50/month billed yearly. Max is reported at about $34.99/month, though one review lists $26.99.
Best for: phone-first sellers who need fast cutouts and clean marketplace images in volume. Limitation: no video on Pro, and monthly prices aren't shown by default. Compare it in AiArter vs Photoroom and Photoroom alternatives.
2. Pebblely
Pebblely puts your product into AI backgrounds using 40+ themes or your own prompt, and can resize for marketplaces. Lite is $9/month for 30 images, Basic $19/month for 200 and Pro $39/month for 500. Bulk generation starts on Basic. Third-party sites report a free tier of 40 images a month at 1024×1024, which Pebblely's pricing page doesn't describe.
Best for: low-budget sellers who want themed lifestyle backgrounds quickly. Limitation: images only, no video, and only 30 images on the cheapest plan. See AiArter vs Pebblely and Pebblely alternatives.
3. Claid.ai
Claid.ai offers e-commerce photo enhancement and generation in a web app and an API. Its credit guide, as cited by reviewers, prices background removal at 2 credits, enhancement at 1, an AI background at 3 and a 5-second image-to-video clip at 35. Reported plans: Essentials $15/month (500 credits) and Pro $49/month (2,000 credits, adds video and custom models). The official pricing page didn't load for us, so confirm these numbers with Claid.
Best for: catalog teams and developers who want images processed automatically. Limitation: costs vary by operation, so the real cost per image takes some working out. See Claid.ai alternatives.
4. Flair.ai
Flair.ai is a canvas-based photoshoot tool. You train a custom model on your product, then generate styled shots. The free plan includes 1 custom model, 5 images and 1 video a month. Pro is $8/month, Pro+ $26/month (80 images, 3 videos) and Scale $38/month (150 images, 5 videos). The page has an annual discount toggle and doesn't say which billing mode these prices use. Instant image and ad generation cost 4x the image quota.
Best for: brands that want consistent, on-brand photoshoots of a fixed product line. Limitation: small image quotas, and the company commercial license starts on Pro+. See Flair.ai alternatives.
5. Pixelcut
Pixelcut covers background removal, AI backgrounds (white, transparent or generated), batch editing, uncrop, 2x/4x upscaling and short AI video clips. Pro is $10/month, or $8/month billed yearly, with 600 AI credits, 1,000 batch exports a month and 3 seats. Business is $30/month ($24 yearly) with 3,600 credits and 2,000 batch exports. A commercial license comes with both paid plans. The free plan offers limited background removal and upscaling.
Best for: budget-minded sellers who need batch white backgrounds. Limitation: AI features have daily caps (300 a day on Pro), and most of the AI value sits in paid credits. See Pixelcut alternatives.
6. Mockey.ai
Mockey.ai is a mockup generator with 27,000+ templates, AI background and style tools, and a Shopify app. Image mockups are unlimited at 1600×2000. Its campaign page lists Starter at $9.90/month and Creator at $19/month with 150 AI credits, which unlock AI backgrounds, styles and video mockups (about 10 credits per 5 seconds). Other sources list Starter at $7/month, so check the current price. The free tier is reported at 3 downloads a day, JPG only, for personal use. Commercial use is on paid plans.
Best for: print-on-demand and merch sellers. Limitation: it's mockup-first, so it's less suited to photoreal scenes of a product you made, and AI credits are small. Our print-on-demand product photos guide covers mockups in more depth.
7. getimg.ai
getimg.ai is a general multi-model image and video generator with models such as Nano Banana, Kling and Seedance. It adds background removal, smart resize and upscaling to 16K. Entry is $15/month for 8,000 credits (about 114 Nano Banana 2 images and 13 auto videos), and Core is $35/month (about 271 images). There's no free plan, and commercial use is allowed on paid plans only.
Best for: tech-comfortable users who want access to many models. Limitation: no e-commerce workflow. You write your own prompts, and a model that generates the whole frame may redraw your product.
8. Adobe Firefly and Canva
Adobe Firefly generates images and video, and Adobe states its Firefly model outputs are safe for commercial use. There are free daily generations. Reported US prices: Standard $9.99/month (2,000 credits, up to 20 five-second videos) and Pro $19.99/month (4,000 credits). Canva's Magic Studio tools come with Canva Pro, reported at $18/month or $180/year.
Best for: teams already working in Adobe or Canva. Limitation: neither is built around a seller workflow, so there are no marketplace presets or batch product scenes.
9. Nightjar
Nightjar is an AI product photography studio for DTC and Shopify brands, with photoshoots, try-on, recolor and reframe. Studio is $25/month for 150 credits, Studio+ $50/month for 400 and Ultra $100/month for 800. A photo costs 1 credit at 1K or 2K and 2 credits at 4K. Failed images are retried free. You get 6 free credits with no card, and Nightjar says images are yours to use commercially. Paid plans include teammates and an API.
Best for: brands that want polished on-model or lifestyle photos. Limitation: no video mentioned, and a higher entry price per image.
10. AiArter (ours)
AiArter is a web app for online sellers. You upload your own photo. The product is cut out and kept as shot, and only the background is generated, so labels, colors and shape stay true.
- Amazon white background (4 credits): pure white RGB 255,255,255, product filling about 85% of a 2000×2000 frame, optional soft shadow. Up to 50 photos at once.
- Lifestyle scenes (8 credits): 10 presets such as marble, wood, beach and dark luxury, or describe your own.
- Channel sizes (8 credits) for Etsy, Shopify, Instagram, Pinterest, Stories and ads, with extra space filled by AI.
- 5-second clips from a photo (15 credits) and UGC video ads where an AI-generated creator presents your product. A 15-second Standard ad is about 102 credits.
Starter is $12/month (1,000 credits), Pro $29/month (3,000 credits, 3 seats, social scheduling) and Studio $59/month (6,500 credits, 10 seats). Credits are charged only when a result succeeds.
Best for: marketplace sellers who want a white main image, scenes, channel sizes and short video from one upload. Limitation: web only (no mobile app), no API, no AI fashion models, and no permanent free plan. The trial is 7 days and 50 credits, and trial images carry a small “Made with aiarter” mark.
Upload one product photo and get a pure white main image and a lifestyle scene, with the product kept as you shot it.

What does an AI product photo cost at 100 images a month?
This table takes about 100 finished images a month on monthly billing and divides the cheapest plan that covers them by 100. You pay the full plan price even if you use less.
| Tool and plan | Monthly price | Covers 100 images? | Cost per image at 100/month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pixelcut Pro | $10 | Yes (1,000 batch exports) | 10 cents |
| AiArter Starter | $12 | Yes: 100 white (400 credits) or 100 scenes (800 credits) | 12 cents |
| Photoroom Pro | $12.99 (reported) | Yes (1,000 exports) | About 13 cents |
| Claid.ai Essentials | $15 (reported) | Yes: 100 AI backgrounds at 3 credits = 300 of 500 | 15 cents |
| getimg.ai Entry | $15 | Yes (about 114 images) | 15 cents |
| Pebblely Basic | $19 | Yes (200 images); Lite covers only 30 | 19 cents |
| Nightjar Studio | $25 | Yes (150 credits at 1 per photo) | 25 cents |
| Flair.ai Scale | $38 (billing mode not stated) | Yes (150 images); Pro+ covers 80 | 38 cents |
| Mockey.ai, Adobe Firefly, Canva | Varies | Credits per AI image not published | Not computable |
At full use the picture shifts. Photoroom Pro's 1,000 exports work out to about 1.3 cents each, and AiArter Starter's 1,000 credits make 250 white backgrounds (4.8 cents each) or 125 scenes (9.6 cents each). Compare plans on the outputs you actually need. Our product photography cost guide compares these prices with a studio shoot.
Before you list an AI image, compare it with your original photo: logo, label text, color, stitching and proportions. Tools that keep your cutout and replace only the background are safer for listings. Whole-image generators are better for mood shots and ads, where you can check every detail. Run main images through the free Amazon image checker before uploading a batch.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI product photo generator?
There's no single best one. Pixelcut and Photoroom are strong for cheap batch cutouts and white backgrounds. Pebblely is simple for themed scenes. Flair.ai and Nightjar suit brand photoshoots. Claid.ai is built for API use. AiArter (our product) combines white backgrounds, scenes, channel sizes and video ads from your own photo.
What is the best free AI product photo generator?
Free options are limited. Flair.ai's free plan gives 5 images a month. Pebblely is reported to offer 40 free images a month. Pixelcut has a free plan for limited background removal. Adobe Firefly has free daily generations. Check commercial-use terms first, since some free tiers are for personal use only.
Can AI product photos be used on Amazon?
Yes, as long as the image follows Amazon's rules and accurately shows the product you ship. The main image needs a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255) with the product filling about 85% of the frame. Lifestyle scenes belong in the secondary images. Check Amazon's current style guide for your category.
Do AI product photo generators change my product?
Some can. Tools that cut out your real product and generate only the background keep it as shot. Tools that generate the whole image from a prompt or a reference can change logos, label text, colors or shape. Always compare the result with your original before listing.
How much do AI product photos cost?
At about 100 images a month, published and reported prices work out from roughly 10 cents (Pixelcut Pro) to 38 cents (Flair.ai Scale) per image. At full use of a plan, cutouts can cost about a cent each. A studio shoot usually costs far more per image.
Can I use AI product photos commercially?
Usually on paid plans. Pixelcut, Flair.ai (Pro+ and up), Mockey.ai, getimg.ai and AiArter grant commercial use on paid plans. Nightjar says images are yours to use commercially, and Adobe says Firefly outputs are safe for commercial use. Read each vendor's terms for your use.
Which AI product photo generator has video?
Photoroom (Max and up), Pixelcut, Flair.ai, Claid.ai Pro (reported), getimg.ai, Adobe Firefly, Mockey.ai (video mockups) and AiArter (5-second clips and UGC-style video ads). Pebblely is image only, and Nightjar doesn't mention video.
Is AiArter free?
AiArter has a 7-day free trial with 50 credits and no credit card, but no permanent free plan. Paid plans start at $12 a month. Trial images carry a small mark, and paid plans export clean files for commercial use.
