Save as

With a target size, the tool picks the highest quality that fits, and only shrinks the image if even the lowest quality is too big. Target sizes work with JPG and WebP. PNG is lossless, so the quality slider doesn't apply to it. Images are only made smaller, never enlarged. Saving a new copy also drops the photo's EXIF data, such as camera details and location.

FAQ

Questions about heic to jpg

Is the HEIC to JPG converter free?
Yes. It's free with no sign-up, no credits and no watermark.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Conversion runs in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
Why won't my iPhone photo upload?
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default. Many marketplaces and website builders only accept JPG or PNG, so the upload fails or the photo won't open. Converting to JPG fixes it.
Will the JPG look the same?
Yes at the default quality of 92. You can raise it to 100 for the highest quality or lower it for smaller files.
Does it keep the photo's metadata?
No. Saving a new copy drops EXIF data such as camera details and GPS location.
