FAQ

Questions about before and after image maker

Is the before and after maker free?
Yes. It's free with no sign-up, no credits and no watermark.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The image is made in your browser with the canvas API. Your photos never leave your device.
Which size should I pick?
1080 × 1080 is a square post, 1080 × 1350 is a tall 4:5 feed post, 1200 × 628 is a common link and ad image, and 2000 × 1000 is a wide 2:1 banner.
Is the slider split interactive?
No. It's a still image that looks like a comparison slider, with the divider and handle drawn in. You can set where the split sits.
My two photos don't line up. What helps?
The diagonal and slider layouts show both photos over the same full area, so they line up best when both were taken from the same spot. Side by side and top and bottom work with any two photos.
Can I use before and after images in ads?
Some ad platforms restrict before and after images in categories such as health, weight loss and cosmetics. Check your platform's ad rules before you run one.
