Blur or hide any part of a photo

Draw a box over what you don't want to show, such as a face, a license plate, a shipping label or a competitor's logo, and blur, pixelate or black it out. Or keep the product sharp and blur the background around it.

FAQ

Questions about blur image

Is the blur tool free?
Yes. It's free with no sign-up, no credits and no watermark.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The effect is applied in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device.
Which effect should I use for private information?
Use Black box for names, addresses, order numbers, card numbers and anything else sensitive. Small text that is pixelated or only lightly blurred can sometimes be read again with image tools, while a black box replaces the pixels completely.
Can I blur the background and keep my product sharp?
Yes. Draw a box around the product and turn on Blur everything except the areas. The box has a hard edge, so it looks best when the product fills the box. To cut the product out cleanly, use AI background removal, which uses credits.
Does the saved photo keep its EXIF data?
No. The photo is redrawn and saved as a new file, so camera details and GPS location in the original aren't copied to it.
Can I use a different effect for each box?
Not in one pass. The effect and strength apply to every box. Download with one effect, then open the saved photo and add the next one.
