Cyber Monday product images are the email headers, banners and ads you run on Monday, November 30, 2026. Make them in four sizes (1080×1350, 1080×1920, 1200×628 and a 1200 px-wide email header), show the offer in large type, keep each email image under about 200 KB, and have every file finished by Thanksgiving, November 26.
Cyber Monday is the online-only end of the Black Friday weekend, and the creative has a different job: most shoppers see it in an inbox or a feed on their phone, often for less than two seconds. This guide covers the hour-by-hour plan, the exact sizes, how to show a discount honestly, ten layout ideas and how to reuse your Black Friday files instead of starting again.
- Date: Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday, November 30. Black Friday is November 27.
- Four sizes cover most placements: 4:5 feed, 9:16 Stories, 1.91:1 link ads and a 600 px email header exported at 1200 px wide.
- Lead with the offer: one number ("30% off") in type big enough to read on a phone.
- Only real discounts: show a "was" price only if you actually sold at it.
- Reuse, don't reshoot: swap the Black Friday look for Cyber Monday colors and copy.
When should you make Cyber Monday product images?
Finish every Cyber Monday file before Thanksgiving, then schedule them. The weekend is too busy to design on the day, and ad platforms can take hours to review new creatives.
| When | What to have ready |
|---|---|
| By November 16 | Product cut-outs and backgrounds for the products on offer |
| By November 23 | All sizes exported; ads uploaded so they clear review |
| Thanksgiving, November 26 | Emails scheduled; site banner queued |
| Sunday, November 29, evening | Teaser: "Cyber Monday starts at midnight" |
| Monday, November 30, morning | Launch email, site banner and ads switch on |
| Monday, mid-afternoon | Second email to non-openers, "Ends tonight" Story |
| Monday, 8–10 p.m. | Last-call email and Story: "Final hours" |
| Tuesday, December 1 | Extend as "Cyber Week" or swap back to evergreen images |
Pick one time zone for "ends at midnight" and print it on the image ("Ends 11:59 p.m. ET"). If you sell nationwide, a vague deadline creates support emails. For the earlier part of the weekend, see our Black Friday product photos plan.
What size should Cyber Monday product images be?
Make one square-ish master image and export four versions: 1080×1350 for feeds, 1080×1920 for Stories and Reels, 1200×628 for link ads, and a 1200 px-wide email header that displays at 600 px.
| Placement | Size (px) | Ratio | Cyber Monday tip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email header / hero | 1200 wide × 600–800 tall | About 2:1 or 3:2 | Displays at 600 px; keep the offer in live text too |
| Instagram and Facebook feed | 1080×1350 | 4:5 | Offer in the top third, product below |
| Stories, Reels, TikTok | 1080×1920 | 9:16 | Keep text out of the top and bottom 250 px |
| Facebook link ad, Google display | 1200×628 | 1.91:1 | Google also wants a 1200×1200 square |
| Website hero banner | 1920×1080 or wider | 16:9 | Keep text in the center 1200 px for mobile crops |
| Pinterest pin | 1000×1500 | 2:3 | Pin by early November; pins surface slowly |
| Marketplace secondary image | 2000×2000 | 1:1 | Main image stays plain white |
Ad and email image sizes were checked in October 2026. Marketplaces change their rules, so confirm the current requirements in your seller dashboard before you upload a large batch.
For the full spec of each ad placement, see our Facebook ad image size guide.
How big can email images be?
Keep each email image under about 200 KB and the whole email under 1 MB. Large images load slowly on mobile data, and a blank box where your offer should be costs clicks. Our free compress to 200 KB tool shrinks a header in your browser. Always put the offer and the button in live HTML text as well, because many inboxes block images until the reader allows them.
How should you show the discount on a Cyber Monday image?
Show one number, large: "30% off" or "$40 off", not a list of terms. A common rule of thumb is to use a percentage for items under $100 and a dollar amount for items over $100, because the bigger number feels like the better deal.
| Format | Example | Use when |
|---|---|---|
| Percent off | 30% off sitewide | Items under about $100, sitewide sales |
| Dollar off | $60 off | Higher-priced items where the dollar figure is larger |
| Sale price | Now $49 | One hero product with a clear price |
| Was / now | Only with a real previous price | |
| Bundle | 3 for $60 | Low-price items; raises order value |
| Free gift | Free mini with $50+ | Brands that avoid discounting |
Before you design, check the math. Our free discount calculator gives the sale price for a percent off, the real total for stacked discounts (20% then 10% is 28%, not 30%), the effective discount on buy X get Y offers, and the deepest discount that still keeps your target margin.
In the US, the FTC's pricing guides say a former price should be one you actually offered in good faith for a reasonable period. In the EU, a price reduction must be shown against the lowest price of the previous 30 days. Raising prices in November so the discount looks bigger is the classic mistake, and shoppers screenshot it.
Cyber Monday product image ideas
Cyber Monday creative works best when it looks different from your Black Friday set, so returning shoppers notice the new offer. Cool colors and "online only" cues do most of that work.
- Electric blue background with the product centered and the offer in white. Blue and teal read as "Cyber" the way black reads as "Black Friday".
- Neon gradient (blue to purple) behind a clean cut-out, with a thin glow shadow.
- "Cart" framing: the product beside a large "Add to cart" style button graphic.
- Phone mockup: the product page on a phone screen, since most buyers shop on mobile.
- Countdown strip: "12 hours left" across the top of the same layout, re-exported for each email.
- Doorbuster tile: one hero product, one price, nothing else.
- Grid of deals: four best sellers with a price on each, for email.
- Free shipping badge on the hero image if shipping is the real offer.
- "Extended" version: the same ad with "Cyber Week" or "Extended 24 hours".
- Short video: a product photo animated into a 5-second clip, or a creator stating the offer.
Keep the product the hero. A bright background and a big number grab attention, but the shopper still has to recognize what they're buying in the first glance.
Put your product on electric blue, a neon gradient or your brand color with a soft shadow, then extend it to feed, Story and ad sizes without cropping.
Make Cyber Monday images7 days free · 50 credits · No credit cardHow do you turn Black Friday images into Cyber Monday images?
Keep the product cut-outs and layouts, and change three things: the background color, the headline and the deadline. That takes minutes per size instead of a new shoot.
- Duplicate every Black Friday design and rename the copies "CM-".
- Swap black or red backgrounds for blue, teal or your Cyber palette.
- Change the headline to "Cyber Monday" and update the offer if it differs.
- Change the deadline to "Ends Monday 11:59 p.m. ET".
- Export each size, compress email images, and check them on a phone before scheduling.
If you built the originals in design templates, the sale banner and social layouts update by swapping text and colors. If your product photos aren't cut out yet, start there: a clean cut-out is what lets you change backgrounds in seconds.
Should you put text on Cyber Monday product images?
Yes on social posts, ads, banners and emails; no on marketplace main images. Amazon, Walmart and Google Shopping main images must show the product on white with no sale text or badges, and listings with text overlays can be suppressed.
- Social posts and Stories: add the offer and deadline. Our free add text to image tool puts a headline, a SALE or -30% badge, a price tag or a free shipping badge on a photo in your browser and saves at full size.
- Ads: short text is fine; keep it under about a fifth of the image so the product still reads.
- Email: put the offer in the image and in live text below it.
- Marketplace main image: no text, no badges. Use the marketplace's own deal or coupon feature to show the discount instead.
Our Amazon main image rejected guide lists the overlay rules that catch sellers during the holidays.

Frequently asked questions
When is Cyber Monday 2026?
Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday, November 30, the Monday after Thanksgiving (November 26) and Black Friday (November 27). Many stores extend offers through Tuesday, December 1, as Cyber Week.
What size should a Cyber Monday email header be?
Design it at 1200 px wide so it looks sharp on high-resolution screens, and let the email display it at 600 px. A height of 600 to 800 px keeps the offer above the fold. Keep the file under about 200 KB.
What colors are best for Cyber Monday graphics?
Electric blue, teal, purple and neon gradients are the usual Cyber Monday look, which helps the creative stand apart from black-and-red Black Friday ads. Your brand color with a blue accent works too.
Should I show percent off or dollars off?
A common rule of thumb is percent off for items under $100 and dollars off for items over $100, because the larger number feels like the bigger saving. Whichever you choose, show one clear number.
Can I add a Cyber Monday badge to my Amazon main image?
No. Amazon main images must be the product on pure white with no text, badges or graphics. Use Amazon's deal and coupon features to show the discount, and put sale graphics in ads and social posts.
Do countdown timers work in emails?
Live countdown timers are animated images generated by an email service; some desktop Outlook versions show only the first frame. A static "Ends tonight at 11:59 p.m. ET" line works everywhere and is the safe backup.
Cut out your products once, then put them on Cyber colors and export every size for email, social and ads, with your product left exactly as shot.
