AI Fashion Model Generators (2026): Botika, Photoroom, WeShop and Pic Copilot Compared

The main AI fashion model generators for online sellers are Botika (clothing brands that want studio-quality on-model photos with human retouching, from $46/month billed yearly), Photoroom (AI fashion models on every paid plan, alongside its general product editor), WeShop AI (fashion models, virtual try-on, pose changes and plus-size models) and Pic Copilot (the cheapest, with fashion models even on its free plan). Each turns a flat lay, mannequin or supplier photo into an image of the garment on a generated person.

Disclosure: AiArter is our product, and it doesn't generate AI fashion models, so it isn't ranked here; we mention at the end what it does instead. Prices and limits below come from each vendor's own pricing or product pages, checked in October 2026. Photoroom shows prices in local currency in some countries, so we link to our pricing guide rather than quoting one.

The short version
  • Best for brands: Botika: 1 credit per photo, 5 per video, retouch rounds included, credits roll over while you're subscribed.
  • Best all-rounder: Photoroom: fashion models plus background removal, AI backgrounds and phone apps; up to 1,600 1K model generations a month on Pro.
  • Most features for apparel: WeShop AI: try-on, pose changes, plus-size conversion.
  • Cheapest: Pic Copilot: fashion models on the free plan; Pro $59.88/year.
  • Marketplaces: label AI-generated people where required, and keep the garment exactly as sold.

What is an AI fashion model generator?

It's a tool that takes a photo of a garment (on a hanger, a mannequin, a flat lay or a supplier's model) and outputs the same garment worn by a generated person, in a pose and setting you choose. Sellers use it to show fit and drape without booking a model and studio, to add more body types and skin tones, or to reshoot a supplier's photos in a consistent style.

The garment is the part that has to stay true. Check every output for changed prints, logos, buttons, lengths and colors before you list it: a buyer who receives something that doesn't match the photo will return it.

Prices, credits and generation limits, from Botika's, Photoroom's, WeShop's and Pic Copilot's own pages, were checked in October 2026. Marketplaces change their rules, so confirm the current requirements in your seller dashboard before you upload a large batch.

Botika: best for clothing brands

Botika is built only for fashion. You upload garment photos (taken on a phone, from a supplier, or customer photos), choose a model and background, and it delivers on-model images in about 15 minutes, with retouch rounds if something needs fixing: two per photo on Pro, three on Advanced. Pricing is credit-based: a photo costs 1 credit and a video 5, and unused credits roll over for as long as your subscription is active.

Pro ($46/month billed yearly, $55 monthly) gives 600 credits a year with a limited set of models and backgrounds at 2K resolution. Advanced ($100/month billed yearly) gives 1,200 credits, every model and background, 4K output and team collaboration. It's the most expensive option here per image, and the one most focused on looking like a real studio shoot.

Photoroom: best if you also edit other products

Photoroom's AI Fashion Models sit next to its background remover, AI backgrounds, ghost mannequin and flat lay tools, with iPhone and Android apps. Its pricing page lists monthly limits: up to 1,600 generations at 1K on Pro, 5,000 on Max and 15,000 on Ultra; 2K generations only on Max (185) and Ultra (555); and 4K only on Ultra (310). If your shop sells more than clothes, one Photoroom subscription covers both jobs. See Photoroom pricing.

WeShop AI: the most apparel features

WeShop AI lists an AI fashion model tool, virtual try-on, pose changes, a plus-size model generator that converts a model to XL–XXXL body types, and image-to-video. It also runs many general image and video models. WeShop says it is backed by MOGU (NYSE: MOGU). Its pricing page wasn't available when we checked, so test the free tools and confirm costs inside the app.

Pic Copilot: the cheapest way to try it

Pic Copilot, from Alibaba International, includes AI fashion models on its free plan (25 Pcoins). Pro ($59.88 a year, 300 Pcoins a month) adds Pro-only models and custom model uploads; Pro+ ($89.88 a year, 1,000 Pcoins a month) adds Fashion Reels. Pcoins expire monthly. See Pic Copilot alternatives for the full comparison.

Can you use AI models on Amazon, Etsy and other marketplaces?

Usually in secondary images, with care. Marketplace main-image rules still apply, and some platforms ask you to disclose AI-generated people. Amazon has a specific attribute for this; see Amazon's AI-generated people tag. In general:

  • The garment must match what ships: color, print, length, hardware and logo.
  • Follow the main-image rules (white background where required) and use models in later slots.
  • Disclose AI-generated people where the platform asks.
  • Check commercial rights in the tool's terms; see can you use AI images commercially.

How to choose an AI fashion model generator

  1. Count images per month: SKUs × colors × photos per listing.
  2. Decide on resolution: 1K is enough for most marketplaces; zoom-heavy stores want 2K+.
  3. Test your hardest garment (a print, sheer fabric or a logo) in each free option.
  4. Compare cost per usable image, counting rejects and retouches.
  5. Check disclosure requirements on every channel you sell on.
What AiArter does instead

AiArter doesn't put clothes on AI models. It makes white-background and lifestyle images of the product itself, and its UGC video ads use AI creators who present a product on camera. For apparel, pair one of the tools above with clean flat lays or ghost mannequin shots.

Make white-background and lifestyle images of your products, kept exactly as shot.
